Focus and Services
Ken Jacobs of Progressive
Asset Management of Colorado, Inc. provides comprehensive
financial advice and planning services to his diverse client base. His
service underscores the
importance of establishing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with
his clients. This
relationship is based on developing a solid understanding of his client’s
unique financial
needs and goals. He begins by developing a firm understanding of your
current situation,
immediate and long-term priorities, and social values. He can then assemble
the financial
tools to help you fulfill your objectives.
Ken’s clients include small businesses, individuals and families,
and non-profit organizations.
Ken’s diverse client mix is intentional. He believes that this
is a fundamental part of
the diverse, sustainable culture and economy that socially responsible
investment is all
about. Ken helps clients just starting on the path to responsibly meeting
their financial
goals, as well as those who need assistance with wealth management
and estate planning.
One of Ken’s specialties is serving small businesses
and non-profit organizations with a
focus on building a just and sustainable economy, helping them to
develop consistency
between the mission of their organization and the financial tools
they utilize.
Ken’s approach is comprehensive because he believes that there
are constant interrelationships
and synergies in meeting his clients’ financial needs.
For example, saving for retirement and education needs
may be competing priorities.
Similarly, the client’s ability to continue to save is dependent
on continued good health and
ability to earn an income. Therefore, protection as well as investment
is a fundamental part
of a responsible financial strategy.
Based on Ken’s extensive public-sector experience
prior to becoming a financial advisor, his
clientele includes many members of the Colorado Public Employees
Retirement Association
(PERA). Ken specializes in many important issues that PERA members
and other public sector
pension fund participants face.
In addition to First Affirmative’s managed asset programs, Ken
