Hansen’s Financial Services involves clients
in a focused, holistic approach to financial planning, acting as a coach
to help the client develop the connection between values, goals, and
their investments. This approach includes socially responsible investing.

Professional Affiliations
Sue
is on the Board of the Financial Planning Association of Central New
York (FPA-CNY). She is a member of the Estate Planning Council in Syracuse,
First Affirmative Financial Network, and the Social Investment Forum.
Sue serves on the McKenzie Institute Board as Treasurer, along with being
a Board member of the Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation.

Education and Experience
Sue holds a Certified Financial Planner™ certificate,
the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, is an Accredited
Estate Planner, and a Chartered Life Underwriter. She has been in the
financial planning field since 1985 and owns Hansen’s Financial
Services in Fayetteville.
In addition, Sue has presented workshops to other
financial planners on unmarried partner issues, inclusion of values and
goals in client meetings, and practice management. Sue coaches other
financial advisors.
Sue has a teaching background with a bachelor’s degree from State
University of New York, Brockport (SUNY) and a Masters in Educational
Administration and CAS (Certificate of Advanced Study) from SUNY Oswego.

Community
Involvement
Hansen’s Financial Services is active in supporting
local organizations in Central New York, such as the Peace Council, Peace
Action, Women’s Information Center, SAGE, ACLU, and other cultural
groups.
